OKUL YÖNETİCİLERİ VE ÖĞRETMENLERDE AZİM VE PSİKOLOJİK SAĞLAMLIĞIN ROLÜ

Abstract

Bir öğrencinin eğitim hayatında önemli bir role sahip olan öğretmenlikmesleği insan hayatını etkileyen mesleklerden biridir. Belirli bir eğitim aldıktansonra devlet okulu veya özel bir okulda göreve başlayan öğretmenler çalıştıklarıokulda üstlendikleri göreve göre yönetici veya öğretmen olarak sınıflandırılmaktadır. Bu sınıflandırma için devlet okullarında resmi olarak yapılan sınavlar gözönünde bulundurulurken özel okullarda çalışan öğretmenin performansı dikkate alınmaktadır. Bu performansı etkileyen faktörler arasında azim (grit) ve psikolojik sağlamlığın (resiliens) yer aldığı düşünülmektedir. Bu bakımdan, bu araştırmanın amacı; azim ve psikolojik sağlamlığın okullarda yönetici ve öğretmenolarak çalışan öğretmenleri, öğretmen olarak çalışma referans alınarak, doğru sınıflandırıp sınıflandırmadığını incelemektir. Araştırmaya katılan öğretmenlerin235’i yönetici, 324’ü ise öğretmen olarak çalışmaktadır. Korelasyonel yöntemleyapılan bu araştırmada katılımcılara kişisel bilgi formu, kısa azim ölçeği ve kısapsikolojik sağlamlık ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler ‘Binary LojistikRegresyon Analizi’ ile test edilmiştir. Yapılan analiz sonucunda azmin öğretmenleri, yönetici ve öğretmen olarak sınıflandırmada etkili olduğu gözlemlenirkenpsikolojik sağlamlığın bu sınıflandırmada etkili olmadığı gözlemlenmiştir. Kurulan modelde azmin öğretmenleri, yönetici ve öğretmen olarak % 85.70 orandadoğru sınıflandırdığı görülmüştür.

The teaching profession, which has an important role in a student's education life, is one of the professions that affect human life. Teachers are classified as administrators or teachers according to the roles they undertake in education. For this promotion, while exams are officially taken into account in public schools, the performance of teachers working in private schools is taken into consideration. Perseverance (grit) and psychological resilience are thought to be among the factors affecting this performance. In this respect, the purpose of this study to examine whether perseverance and psychological resilience correctly classify teachers who work as administrators and teachers in schools, with reference to working as teachers. 235 of the teachers participating in the study work as administrators and 324 as teachers. A personal information form, short perseverance scale and short psychological resilience scale were applied to the participants in this study with the correlational method. The obtained data were tested with "Binary Logistic Regression Analysis". As a result of the analysis, it was observed that perseverance was effective in classifying teachers as administrators and teachers, while psychological resilience was not effective in this classification. In the model established, it was seen that perseverance correctly classified teachers as administrators and teachers by 85.70%.
