Özet
Laryngeal tuberculosis is rarely seen nowadays. Diagnostic delays are common in laryngeal tuberculosis because it might be confused with other diseases. It is usually accompanied by pulmonary tuberculosis and has a high risk of transmission. Therefore, it poses a serious problem in terms of public health. In this report, two cases of laryngeal tuberculosis are presented, a 25-year-old female and a 78-year-old male prediagnosed as gastroesophageal reflux and laryngeal cancer, respectively. Their diagnoses were delayed, and they have pulmonary tuberculosis as well. Both cases diagnosed by chest radiography and microbiological examination of sputum. In both cases, full recovery was achieved with a 6-month antituberculous treatment.
