Mustafa Yoğurtçu'nun çocuk kitaplarının söz varlığı unsurları açısından incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Mustafa Yoğurtçu'nun çocuk kitaplarındaki söz varlığı ögelerini; özel isimler, deyimler, atasözleri, ikilemeler, yansıma sözcükler, kalıp ifadeler, terimler, yöresel ifadeler bağlamında incelemek ve bu unsurların sıklıklarını tespit etmektir. Bu çalışmada, Mustafa Yoğurtçu'nun çocuk kitapları incelenerek söz varlığı unsurlarının analiz edilmesi amaçlandığından, nitel araştırma yöntemi tercih edilmiştir. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak doküman incelemesi tekniği kullanılmıştır. Bu araştırmada Mustafa Yoğurtçu'nun çocuk kitaplarındaki söz varlığı ögelerini incelemek amacıyla yazara ait 3 yazma masal kitabı, 1 fantastik romanı ve 5 adet kitaptan oluşan ilk okuma seti araştırmanın veri seti olarak ele alınmıştır. Araştırmada kullanılmak için uzman görüşüne sunularak oluşturulan değerlendirme formunda araştırmanın söz varlığı ögeleri belirlenmiştir. Belirlenen ögelerin (özel isimler, deyimler, atasözleri, ikilemeler, yansıma sözcükler, kalıp ifadeler, terimler, yöresel ifadeler sıklıkları tablolarla gösterilmiş ve en yüksek frekanslı bulgular kitaplardan doğrudan alıntılar yapılarak sunulmuştur. Araştırma sonucu çocuk edebiyatının dil öğretimi üzerindeki etkilerini ortaya koymakta ve Mustafa Yoğurtçu'nun eserlerinin söz varlığı unsurları açısından zengin olduğunu göstermektedir. Bu uyum, çocuk edebiyatının eğitimdeki rolünü daha belirgin hale getirirken, Yoğurtçu'nun eserlerinin Türkçe öğretiminde nasıl daha etkin kullanılabileceği konusunda yol gösterici bilgiler sunmaktadır.

The aim of this study is to examine the vocabulary elements in Mustafa Yoğurtçu's children's books within the context of proper nouns, idioms, proverbs, reduplications, onomatopoeic words, formulaic expressions, terms, and regional expressions, and to determine the frequencies of these elements. Since the study focuses on analyzing the vocabulary elements in Mustafa Yoğurtçu's children's books, the qualitative research method was preferred. The document analysis technique was used as the data collection tool. For this research, the data set consisted of three handwritten fairy tale books, one fantasy novel, and a five-book early reading set authored by Mustafa Yoğurtçu. To identify the vocabulary elements, an evaluation form was prepared and finalized based on expert opinions. The identified elements (proper nouns, idioms, proverbs, reduplications, onomatopoeic words, formulaic expressions, terms, and regional expressions) were presented in tables showing their frequencies, and the findings with the highest frequencies were illustrated with direct quotations from the books. The results of the study reveal the impact of children's literature on language teaching and demonstrate that Mustafa Yoğurtçu's works are highly aligned with the learning outcomes outlined in the Turkish Language Teaching Curriculum. This alignment not only highlights the role of children's literature in education but also provides insightful guidance on how Yoğurtçu's works can be more effectively utilized in Turkish language instruction.
