Özet

Transferring historical structures to future generations with their unique construction technique, aesthetics, and material properties is only possible with the proper restoration and archiving. The fact that the sources and documents about the buildings are in different people and in different formats in Türkiye makes it difficult to understand their structural change and to analyze the current situation. It has been found that there is currently no digital archive system to control the processes of the structures and the flow of documents between institutions. In this study, a digital archive model that can be used in restoration projects and historical building research over Gaziantep's traditional civil buildings has been designed. The model provides a solution for prolonged restoration processes due to human errors by providing file control in the restoration workflow. In the designed model, the multi-layered information structure in cultural heritage buildings was supported by the Historical Building Information management (HBIM) systems by 3D visuals and the building alterations are collected on a single platform Besides the HBIM building library of components on studied building group was developed to be used as a decision support system for the next restoration works. This digital archive model, developed for an example of traditional civil buildings in Gaziantep will be a base for the development and use of HBIM models and the HBIM library. © 2023 Gazi Universitesi Muhendislik-Mimarlik.
