ÜNİVERSİTE ÇALIŞANLARININ PSİKOLOJİK SERMAYE DÜZEYLERİNİN BELİRLENMESİNE YÖNELİK BİR ARAŞTIRMA: BİNGÖL ÜNİVERSİTESİ ÖRNEĞİ

Abstract

Psikolojik sermaye bireyin “kim olduğundan” ziyade gelişimsel bir anlayış ile “kim olmakta olduğu” ile ilgilenmektedir.Bu bağlamda bireyin hâlihazırdaki psikolojik kapasiteleri başlangıç ve bitiş noktası arasındaki farklılıkları tespit etmekbağlamında önem arz etmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, psikolojik sermayenin demografik özellikler açısındanfarklılıklarını belirlemektir. Araştırmanın örneklemini Bingöl Üniversitesinde görev yapan 295 akademik ve idaripersonel oluşturmuştur. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak anket kullanılmıştır. Ölçeklerin güvenilirlik ve geçerlilikanalizleri SPSS.21.0 ve AMOS istatistiksel analiz paket programları ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma hipotezleri T-testi vetek yönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA) ile incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda psikolojik sermayenin cinsiyet, medenidurum, statü, eğitim düzeyi, yaş, çalışma süresi ve toplam çalışma süresi gibi demografik değişkenlere göre anlamlıfarklılıklar gösterdiği, bekâr, daha genç, kurumda çalışma süresi, toplam iş tecrübesi ve eğitim seviyesi daha az olançalışanların psikolojik sermaye ve alt boyutlarında ortalamalarının daha düşük olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

Psychological capital is concerned with "who you are becoming" with a developmental mentality rather than the "who you are" of the individual. In this context, the current pschological capacities of the individual are important in terms of determining the differences between the starting and ending points. The purpose of this study is to determine the differences in terms of demographic characteristics of the psychological capital. The research sample consisted of 295 academic and administrative personnel working at Bingöl University. Questionnaire was used as data collection tool in the study. Reliability and validity of the scales were analyzed with SPSS.21.0 and AMOS statistical analysis package programs. Research hypotheses were examined by T-test and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results of the study showed that the psychological capital and sub-dimensions showed significant differences according to demographic variables such as gender, marital status, status, education level, age, work period and total job experience. It was found that employees who were single, younger and have lower work preriod, total work experience and education level were found to have a lower average in psychological capital and subscales
