BORSA İSTANBUL’DA İŞLEM GÖREN LOJİSTİK İŞLETMELERİNİN FİNANSAL PERFORMANSLARININ TOPSIS VE VIKOR YÖNTEMLERİYLE DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Borsa İstanbul’da işlem gören lojistik hizmet sağlayıcı işletmelerin finansal performanslarının çok kriterli karar verme yöntemlerinden TOPSIS ve VIKOR yöntemleri ile değerlendirilmesidir. Performans değerlendirmesi amacıyla işletmelerin finansal oranlarından faydalanılmıştır. Bu kapsamda, altı adet lojistik sektörü işletmesinin 2014-2018 yılları arası finansal tablo verileri kullanılmıştır. İşletmelerin finansal performansları TOPSIS ve VIKOR yöntemlerine göre ayrı ayrı değerlendirilmiş olup bulgular yöntemler açısından kıyaslanarak yorumlanmıştır. Finansal performansı yüksek olan işletmeler analiz yöntemine göre farklılık gösterirken her iki yönteme göre de finansal performansı düşük olan işletmelerde benzerlik söz konusu olmuştur. Finansal oranlar incelendiğinde, finansal performansı yüksek olan işletmelerin genel olarak aktif kârlılık oranı, özkaynak kârlılık oranı ve aktif devir hızının diğer işletmelere kıyasla daha yüksek olduğu gözlemlenmiştir. Finansal performansı düşük olan işletmelerde ise bu oranların diğer işletmelere kıyasla daha düşük olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the financial performances of logistic service provider companies which are listed in Borsa İstanbul by using TOPSIS and VIKOR methods. For the purpose of performance evaluation, the financial ratios of the companies were utilized. In this context, the financial statement data of six logistics sector companies between 2014-2018 were used. The financial performances of the companies were evaluated separately according to TOPSIS and VIKOR methods and findings were compared in terms of method. While the companies with high financial performance differed according to the analysis method, there was similarity in the companies which were low financial performance compared to both methods. When the financial ratios are analyzed, in the high performance companies it is observed that the return on asset, return on equity and assets turnover ratios are higher than other companies. In companies with low financial performance, these ratios were found to be lower compared to other companies.
