Türkçe IPDT: Piaget Gelişimsel Görevler Envanteri (IPDT-TR) ve bir grup üniversite öğrencisinin bilişsel gelişim özellikleri

Abstract

Bu çalışma, Piaget Gelişimsel Görevler Envanteri (IPDT-TR)'nin psikometrik özelliklerinin (güvenirlik ve geçerlik) değerlendirilmesi ve bir grup üniversite öğrencisinin bilişsel gelişim özelliklerinin incelenmesi amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. IPDT-TR'nin ülkemize kazandırılması, danışan ile terapist arasındaki terapötik ilişki, tedavi yöntemleri ve terapi sürecinin diğer yönleri hakkında bilinenlerin gelişimsel teori ile bütünleştirilmesiyle, danışanları doğru bir şekilde değerlendirme ve başarılı terapi sonuçlarını garantileme olasılığı en yüksek olan müdahaleleri seçmeleri için bir araç sağlaması açısından önemli görülmektedir. Çalışma grubunu 18-24 yaş aralığındaki 463 (350 kadın, 113 erkek) üniversite öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışmada Sosyodemografik Bilgi Formu, Piaget Gelişimsel Görevler Envanteri (IPDT-TR) ve Kent Egy Zekâ Testi uygulanmış, katılımcılardan elden edilen veriler SPSS programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Piaget Gelişimsel Görevler Envanteri Türkçe formunun ölçüm güvenirliği kapsamında gerçekleştirilen Cronbach Alpha güvenirlik analizi sonucu Türkçe formun iç tutarlılık katsayısı 0.88 olarak saptanmış olup bu kabul edilebilir güvenirlik düzeyini yansıtmaktadır. Test tekrar test güvenirlik analizi sonucu ise IPDT-TR hareket ve sıralama alt testleri dışındaki alt test puanları arasındaki korelasyon katsayıları 0.351 ile 0.741 arasında ve istatistiksel olarak anlamlı şekilde ilişkili bulunmuştur. Ölçüt geçerliği kapsamında gerçekleştirilen analiz sonucu, IPDT-TR miktar alt testi dışındaki alt test puanları ile Kent Egy Zekâ Testi puanları arasındaki korelasyon katsayıları 0.111 ile 0.276 arasında ve istatistiksel olarak anlamlı şekilde ilişkili bulunmuştur. Çalışmadan elde edilen bulgular literatür ile beraber tartışılmıştır.

This study was carried out to evaluate the psychometric properties (reliability and validity) of Inventory of Piaget's Developmental Tasks and to examine the cognitive development characteristics of a group of university students. The introduction of IPDT-TR to our country, integrating therapeutic relationship between the client and therapist, treatment methods, and what is known about the other aspects of the therapy process with developmental theory is considered important to provide a tool for therapists to accurately assess clients and select interventions most likely to ensure successful therapy outcomes. The study group was 463 (350 female, 113 male) university students between the ages of 18-24. In this study, Sociodemographic Information Form, Inventory of Piaget's Developmental Tasks (IPDT-TR) and Kent Egy Intelligence Test were applied, and the data obtained from the participants were analyzed with the SPSS program. As a result of the Cronbach Alpha reliability analysis performed within the scope of the measurement reliability of the Turkish form of Inventory of Piaget's Developmental Tasks, the internal consistency coefficient of the Turkish form was determined to be 0.88, which reflects the acceptable reliability level. As a result of the test-retest reliability analysis, the correlation coefficients between the subtest scores except IPDT-TR movement and seriation subtests were found to be between 0.351 and 0.741 and statistically significant. As a result of the analysis performed within the scope of criterion validity, the correlation coefficients between the subtest scores except IPDT-TR quantity subtest and the Kent Egy Intelligence Test scores were found to be between 0.111 and 0.276 and statistically significant. Findings obtained from the study were discussed together with the literature.
