Kur riski yönetimi ve Gaziantep tekstil sektörü üzerine bir uygulama

Abstract

Dövizle işlem yapan tüm işletmelerin karşı karşıya kaldığı kur riskini yönetilebilir duruma getirmek mümkündür. Finans yöneticileri sahip olduğu bilgi ve beceri düzeyi ile kur riskine yönelik yaptığı olumlu hamleler işletmelerine önemli avantajlar sağlayacaktır. Bu çalışmanın amacı Gaziantep ili tekstil sektöründeki finans yöneticilerinin sosyo-ekonomik faktörlerin, finansal okuryazarlık düzeyinin, davranışsal eğilimlerinden kendine güven, sürü psikoloji düzeylerinin kur riski üzerindeki etkinliğini ortaya koymaktır. Çalışmada Gaziantep ili tekstil sektörü üzerine yapılan uygulama anket ile kolayda örneklem yöntemi uygulanmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda davranışsal eğilimlerin, kur riski yönetimi üzerinde etkili olduğu gözlemlenmiştir. Diğer taraftan sosyo-ekonomik faktörlerden cinsiyet ve yaş faktörlerinde, kur riski yönetimi üzerinde etkili olduğu gözlemlenmiştir.It is possible to make the exchange rate risk that all businesses dealing with foreign currency face manageable. The level of knowledge and skill that finance managers have and the positive moves they make towards exchange rate risk will provide significant advantages to their businesses. The aim of this study is to reveal the effect of socio-economic factors, financial literacy level, behavioral tendencies, self-confidence, herd psychology levels of finance managers in the textile sector in Gaziantep on exchange rate risk. In the study, the convenience sampling method was applied with the application questionnaire on the textile sector in Gaziantep province. As a result of the study, it was observed that behavioral tendencies were effective on currency risk management. On the other hand, it has been observed that socio-economic factors such as gender and age have an effect on exchange rate risk management.
