AVRUPA BİRLİĞİ’NE ÜYE VE ADAY ÜLKELERDE YÖNETİŞİM İLE EKONOMİK VERİLER ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİ

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın ana amacı, Avrupa Birliği’ne üye ve aday ülkelerin yoksulluk, yönetişim ve kişibaşı GSMH değişkenleri arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir. Bir ülkedeki yönetişimin kalitesini;siyasi sistem, kamu hizmetlerinin görülüş şekli ve sivil toplumun katılımı kriterleri çerçevesindegösteren ölçütler: ifade özgürlüğü ve hesap verme sorumluluğu, baskı/şiddet içermeyen siyasiistikrar, devletin etkinliği, düzenleme kalitesi, hukukun üstünlüğü ve yolsuzluklarlamücadeledir. AB’ye üye ve aday ülkelerin çalışma kapsamındaki bütün verilerine ulaşılmış dahasonra korelasyon analizi yapılmıştır. Yapılan analizler neticesinde tüm yönetişim ölçütleri ilekişi başı GSMH arasında doğru yönlü; yoksulluk ile ters yönlü bir ilişki olduğu bulgusunaerişilmiştir.The main purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between poverty, governance and GNI per capita variables of EU member and candidate countries.The criteria representing the quality of governance in a country under the determined political system, the manner of public service and the participation of civil society are voice and accountability, political stability and absence of violence, government effectiveness, regulatory quality, the rule of law, and control of corruption. All data of the EU member and candidate countries within the scope of the study were obtained and then correlation analysis was performed. The findings of the analysis show that, there is a positive correlation between all the governance indicators and per Capita Gross National Product and a negative correlation between governance indicators and poverty.
