Ahşap malzeme kullanımının kafe iç mekan tasarımında mekan algısına etkileri

Abstract

Ahşap, lifli ve boşluklu dokusu nedeniyle hafif ve mukavemet değeri yüksek bir yapı malzemesidir. Ahşabın gerilme, deformasyon eğrisi, liflerin ayrışmasının bir süreyi gerektirmesi sebebiyle diğer yapı malzemelerinden çok farklıdır. Bu nedenle bir ahşap malzemenin, metal veya beton gibi aniden çökme ya da kırılmaya uğraması söz konusu değildir. Bu çalışmada Kafe iç mekânlarında kullanılan doğal ve yapay ahşap malzemelerin, iç mekân algısına katkıları incelenmiş, anketler aracılığı ile bu malzemelerin kullanıcılar üzerinde oluşturduğu farklı etkiler saptanmış ve yorumlanmıştır. Ahşap malzemenin kullanıcılar üzerinde psikolojik, dokunsal, estetik olarak mekân algısına etkileri anket aracılığıyla incelenmiş, malzemenin iç mekân algısına yarattığı etkiler ele alınarak gerekli bilgiler verilmiştir. Bu bilgiler doğrultusunda kafelerde doğal ve yapay ahşap malzeme kullanımı zemin, duvar, taşıyıcı sistem, tavan ve mobilya başlıkları altında incelenmiş, mekân algısına etkileri saptanmıştır. Araştırma bu alanda genel hatları ile değerlendirildiğinde ahşap malzeme detaylı bir şekilde incelenmiş, kafe iç mekânlarındaki etkileri saptanmış, tasarımcılar ve kullanıcılar üzerinde bir farkındalık yaratarak literatüre katkıda sağlamıştır.

Wood is a lightweight and high-strength building material due to its fibrous and hollow texture. The stress, deformation curve of wood is very different from other building materials because it takes a while for the fibers to decompose. For this reason, it is not possible for a wooden material to collapse or break suddenly like metal or concrete. In this study, the contribution of natural and artificial wood materials used in cafe interiors to the perception of interior space was examined, and the different effects of these materials on users were determined and interpreted through questionnaires. The effects of wooden material on the perception of space as psychological, tactile and aesthetic on users were examined through a questionnaire, and the necessary information was given by considering the effects of the material on the perception of interior space. In line with this information, the use of natural and artificial wood materials in cafes was examined under the headings of floor, wall, carrier system, ceiling and furniture, and its effects on the perception of space were determined. When the research was evaluated in general terms in this area, the wood material was examined in detail, its effects on the cafe interiors were determined, and it contributed to the literature by creating an awareness on the designers and users.
