Demokrat Parti'nin demokrasi politikalarının Türkiye'ye yansımaları

Abstract

Son yirmi yılda iç ve dış olayların temel nedeni dünyaya damgası vuran bloklar politikası ve soğuk savaştır. Bloklar politikası ve soğuk savaşın getirdiği yeni düzenin bir ürünü olarak ortaya çıkan biçimsel demokrasidir. Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi (CHP) iktidarı, konjonktüre uyum sağlamak ve iktisadi destek bulmak gibi nedenlerle demokratik ülkelerle ilişkilerini iyi tutulması amacıyla hızlı bir reform yapmıştır. Çiftçiyi Topraklandırma Kanunu çıkarılmasıyla ortaya çıkan Demokrat Parti (DP) ile Türkiye'de çok partili hayata geçişi sağlamıştır. 7 Ocak 1946 yılında DP'nin kurulmasıyla başlayan çok partili siyasi hayatın Türkiye'de siyasi arenada demokraside birçok olumlu değişimin meydana geldiği görülmektedir. Türkiye'de demokratik süreçten vazgeçmeyen DP'lilerin demokratik doğasının ve siyasetinin gelişmesi sayesinde, çok partili siyasal hayata geçişin etkileri ile Türkiye'de meydana gelen demokratik değişimler Türkiye'nin demokratikleşme sürecini nasıl etkilediğini incelemektedir.The main reason for domestic and foreign events in the last two decades is the policy of the blocs and the cold war that left their mark on the world. It is formal democracy that emerged as a product of the policy of the blocks and the new order brought by the cold war. The Republican People's Party (CHP) government made a rapid reform in order to keep good relations with democratic countries for reasons such as adapting to the conjuncture and finding economic support. With the Democrat Party (DP), which emerged with the enactment of the Law on Landing the Farmer, it provided the transition to multi-party life in Turkey. The multi-party political life, which started with the establishment of the DP on January 7, 1946, has seen many positive changes in democracy in the political arena in Turkey. It examines how the democratic nature and politics of the DP members who did not give up on the democratic process in Turkey, the effects of the transition to a multi-party political life and the democratic changes that took place in Turkey affected the democratization process of Turkey.
